You're in one of Melbourne's coolest neighbourhoods — Smith St bars, Brunswick St cafes, Collingwood and the CBD all within easy reach.
Using the wrong one won't work. Here's exactly which is which.
Only use the Small Black Fob on your apartment door (118). It does NOT work on the lift or building entrance.
Use the big square fob for the lift, building entrance, carpark boom gates — all buttons work.
Park on the street out front temporarily. You need to get your fobs from the lockbox before you can access the building or carpark. Don't try to drive into the carpark yet.
Head to the bike storage area near the building entrance. Find the lockbox — it has a distinctive 💣 bomb sticker on it. The code will have been set for you ahead of your arrival.
Enter your lockbox code and retrieve both fobs. Make sure you have both before proceeding — the small Small Black Fob and the big square building fob.
Walk to the East Wing building entrance. Use your big square fob on the scan device to unlock the entrance door. Always use the East Wing — not West Wing.
Inside the lift, hold the big square fob to the reader on the panel, then press Level 1. The fob unlocks floor access.
Hover your palm over the door sensor — two random numbers appear. Place the Small Black Fob directly on one of the numbers. The door will unlock. Numbers change every time — that's normal.
